Summer Programs for High School Girls
Camp Mattakeesett Counselor
A long-standing tradition, Camp Mattakeesett is about enjoying each others’ company and challenging ourselves. It celebrates Faith, Friendship, and Fun! This 5-day overnight camp draws girls from around the New England area.
Beginning in tenth grade, girls can apply to serve as counselors and counselors-in-training (CITs) at Camp Mattakeesett. The counselors care for the campers in their cabins, give daily talks, lead short discussion groups on the virtues incorporated in our Camp Code, and run the fun activities..
Counselor Training sessions are held throughout the school year at Leland in Sherborn, MA and Arnold Hall in Pembroke, MA.
